Hello all,
It is harder than I thought to write down the card instructions in a way that is understandable by all. I will be posting my next card soon they are made but now I need to measure and write down measurements and explain is a easy way to understand. Thanks for your patience.

FLYERS

  •  At my house hockey season is crazy. My Husband and Daughters are big Flyers fans. I know all about the team just from all the talk around the house. So my youngest daughter asked if I could make her a Flyers card. So here it is. hope you enjoy. If you have any questions please let me know.
First step was to punch a basic black circle with the 2 1/2 circle punch. Also a whisper white circle with the same 2 1/2 circle punch. cut the white one in half. set aside.
  • Punch a whisper white circle with the 1 3/8 circle punch. Punch a circle with 1/2 circle punch out of Pumpkin Pie card stock. attach the small one to the middle of the white 1 3/8 circle. then put on to the Basic black 2 1/2 circle.
  • next you will need to cut 4 strips of Basic Black card stock 5/8 wide 3 3/4 long. you will trim off ends later.
  • You also need 4 strips of Whisper White card stock. 3/4 wide about 3 3/4 long.
  • you need to round one corner of all your black and white strips 8 total. Then you will glue the white strips with the rounded corners down and to the left leaving the same amount of white showing at the bottom. (see picture)
  • now line up your strips with the large black circle. the first one has the straight edge across the top with the rounded end on the left bottom. stagger them with the top the longest then geting slightly smaller as you go down.
  • next get the big white circle that you cut in half. you want to put it on the back of the black circle allowing a rim of white to show all the way around the part that doesn't have the stripe. half at the bottom and half at the top. then take a small strip of White 1/8 wide and 1 1/4 long to connect the white circle to the bottom of the white strips.
  • Then using Basic Black card stock cut your letters using your big shot and Perfect Print Alphabet Bigz die. Attach your letters to spell FLYERS with Tombow glue.

Fall Stampin Up Card with White Christmas Stamp Set

This card has lots of steps but isn't hard. Using a scratch piece of card stock I stamped the trees from the White Christmas set.(make sure to leave them on the block the same as in this step). I then cut out what would be where the leaves would be. this made my mask for around the trees.
next I cut my very vanilla card stock to 4 7/8 by 3 1/2. I stamped my post card stamp in memento black ink. Because I am going to use my aqua painter with some sky ink to brush the background.
next stamp your trees from the White Christmas set also in black Memento Ink.Then you want to color your trees with soft suede marker. Place your mask over the trees you can use some washi tape if you want to tape it down. Then I inked up the speckled stamp from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Hello Honey Ink. Stamping on the very vanilla I was heavy on the color as it gave me my base. then I cleaned the stamp and did the same with Cajun craze ink,Tangelo Twist and Mossy Meadow ink. you can leave it like this but I wanted a fuller look so I then used my markers in the same colors as the ink and just dabbed the color in to make it fuller. remove your mask.
next I colored in the hills with the Mossy Meadow marker. using my Cajun Craze Stampin Write marker I made some leaves on the grass. Then using the Aqua painter and Soft Sky Ink I gently swiped in some sky. Be careful not to use to much water this isn't watercolor paper.
after that was completely dry. I used my black stampin write marker to draw a few birds in the sky. I then used Crumb Cake Ink to make it look vintage around the edges. I also used my finger nail to rough up the edges.
Next I cut a piece of yellow honey comb paper from the Moonlight Paper Stack. 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 I also used Crumb Cake Ink with a sponge dauber to go around the edges. Next was soft sky card stock 1/8 th larger than yellow piece, did the same thing to edges.then the mossy meadow card base. 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
for the sentiment give thanks I used the banner thinlet from the gift card envelope trim thinlet set. the sentiment is from good greetings on very vanilla layered onto soft sky card stock. I love to hear your comments.. Please also ask any questions. if you need any of the supplies just click on the item it will take you to my store.Thank you for looking.

Hello Fall

For All Things Stamp Set from Stampin Up is so very fun!
This quick easy fall card comes together easy with some ink, a few sponges and post it notes. I also used the Burlap ribbon cut in half then a few pieces taken off to put under the button.

tams# 1501

Start with a 3x3 piece of cs. I used very vanilla. Using your post it notes place one 1 inch from the bottom and one 1 1/2 inches from the top. This gives enough room for your sentiment to go where the mask is when finished sponging.
ink up your sponge with some Cajun craze ink. I usually dab some off on scratch paper. Then apply small amount along the edge of the post it note. try to keep it close to edge of the top and bottom.
Next add your mossy meadow ink using your sponge. I left the center lighter than the sides. I went a little into the Cajun Craze but not much.
remove your mask (post it notes). Ink the sentiment hello fall from For all things stamp set. I used hello honey ink. stamp to the left. leave room for the acorns.
Ink up the acorns from the set. I used early espresso ink. stamp on the right hand side of the sentiment. some will go on the sponged part.
next I sponged very lightly with Crumb Cake ink over the whole piece. Going darker on the edges.my next layer is very vanilla 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 sponged the edges of that layer lightly also. attached to hello fall piece.
Next layer is Hello Honey 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 adhere that one to very vanilla cs. next adhere the whole panel to top half of the card base. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Cajun Craze cs scored in the middle at 4 1/4. fold in half for card base.
next I cut a 4 1/4 piece of Burlap from the roll. Then cut that to make skinny strip of burlap. it will start to fray. Pull on a single strand it will come off then pull another. These I used under the button I just looped and used glue dot to adhere to back of button, before I put those on I threaded a piece thru the button holes and tied a knot. then another glue dot to attach to card. then just add a very vanilla piece to inside I sponged the edges with crumb cake ink. I also stamped the leaf on the inside of the card. I saw this card on Pinterest and changed it some to make it my own.
